DataMate Data Collection System

The DataMate system is a robust, flexible, and easy to configure tool to collect data via OPC, which will then be logged to a database.The system is designed for those facilities where data and information is procedure by a variety of machine vendors that needs to be collected and stored. Machine PLCs can also request the latest data from the database. The DataMate system also includes a flexible historical reporting tool.

eVision: Vision inspection Picture Storage System

Overview

The purpose of the vision system picture storage application is to watch for new pictures coming from the vision system cameras on the assembly line and do the following:

• Move the pictures to a logical folder structure
• Convert the bitmap pictures to JPEG compressed format
• Log a record to a database for each picture
• Delete old files after a configurable amount of time (ex. 1 month)
• These pictures will be easily retrieved via a link in the reporting system so that the user will be able to view the actual picture of the part and see why it passed or failed.
• Application can be used as a standalone system or as part of the eFlex Assembly system.

Configuration

The eVision system uses the name of the picture files to identify what Station, PUN, etc. and moves the picture into the appropriate folder.  The goal of eVision is to provide a common solution for Vision on all assembly lines (current and legacy).
